Hello!
My name is Marisa Magnusen. I am a Pittsburgh portrait photographer, CM Pro Elite, and all around artist located just north of the city. Thank you so much for stopping by. If you're here then you've looked at my work and I am so grateful. I have been capturing images on camera since I was a teen. I love photography and how it can exalt a singular moment into something that can stand forever.
I have been taking professional portraits for clients since 2012. While I've explored various genres, I now find senior portraits and commercial work to be the most engaging and where my interest is the strongest. Senior portraits allow me to capture a pivotal moment in a person's life, reflecting emotions and milestones that resonate deeply with both the subject and their families. Each session becomes a unique narrative, showcasing individuality and personality against the vibrant backdrop of Pittsburgh.
In parallel, my commercial work challenges me to blend creativity with strategy, focusing on delivering captivating images that communicate a brand's essence effectively. This duality in my photography not only keeps my passion alive but also enhances my versatility as an artist, enabling me to connect with a diverse range of clients and stories. Whether it's celebrating a graduate's accomplishments or elevating a company's image, I am committed to producing high-quality, meaningful visual content that leaves a lasting impact.
My journey has been enriched by incredible opportunities and clients who align with my passion for capturing authentic moments. I recognize that I am still refining my skills and techniques, and I am committed to continuous learning and growth in my craft. I would be delighted to connect with you to explore how we can collaborate and create lasting portraits together.
~Marisa
